Vegan Rice Crispy Tarts

Looking for a tasty CBD infused vegan snack?

In the first of our series of cooking series we're looking at making some CBD-infused vegan rice crispy treats! Great for those with a sweet tooth!

  • 125ml coconut butter
  • 125ml brown rice syrup
  • 1 Tbsp maple syrup
  • 3 & 3/4 cups of crispy rice cereal 
  • 30g unsweetened coconut flakes
  • 2 tsp of itgel CBD oil
CBD Vegan Rice Crispy Tart

Step 1: 
Line a 8x8 baking pan with parchment paper. Allow the paper to overhand edges for easy removal.

Step 2:
Warm the coconut butter, brown rice syrup and maple over medium-low heat.  Whisk until smooth and warm for about one to two minutes.

Remove from heat and then whisk in the itgel CBD oil.

Step 3:
Stir the cereal and coconut flakes into the syrup mixture using a large sturdy spoon.  Continue mixing until all the cereal is incorporated.

Step 4:
Pour the mixture into the lined pan. Use the back of a spatula and a piece of parchment paper (to avoid sticking) and press it down evenly into the pan. Refrigerate for about fifteen minutes.
